The last of our July weddings saw Sam and Mick join us here at Penton Park for an exclusive day of celebrations, initial plans were for an outdoor wedding ceremony but the decision was made to host the ceremony inside due to rather unpredictable weather!

Did you know we also host amazing and exclusive celebrations, maybe you were married abroad and now you want to celebrate with your friends and family in the UK - well today on the blog today is Mandie and Guy, who chose our exclusive use country house wedding venue to do just that.  

 ​Saturday morning and the day dawned beautifully bright over our gorgeous Hampshire venue for the wedding of Julia and Matt.  This was our second outdoor wedding ceremony at our beautiful gazebo which was basking in the sun, however thankfully as the morning wore on some small clouds formed providing some welcome relief from the heat of the day.   

Julia and Matt decided to do things their way, which included an emotional and truly beautiful first look moment in the Drawing Room, before jointly meeting with registrars to complete the formalities prior to the ceremony.  After this point normal traditions resumed with Matt waiting at the front of the aisle for Julia to make entrance to the outstanding music of the Bossard Quartet.

Here at Penton Park, surrounded by stunning Hampshire countryside we believe any month is a wonderful time to marry, and indeed have weddings all year round, from winter wonderlands embracing Christmas and roaring log fires, to summer fete themed celebrations with everyone enjoying the grounds until night falls... but which month is right for you?
