8/7/2019 0 Comments Congratulations Julia and Matt Saturday morning and the day dawned beautifully bright over our gorgeous Hampshire venue for the wedding of Julia and Matt. This was our second outdoor wedding ceremony at our beautiful gazebo which was basking in the sun, however thankfully as the morning wore on some small clouds formed providing some welcome relief from the heat of the day. Julia and Matt decided to do things their way, which included an emotional and truly beautiful first look moment in the Drawing Room, before jointly meeting with registrars to complete the formalities prior to the ceremony. After this point normal traditions resumed with Matt waiting at the front of the aisle for Julia to make entrance to the outstanding music of the Bossard Quartet. Turn up the volume and enjoy the wonderful live strings by Bossard Quartet as Julia and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle. After the ceremony guests enjoyed the house and grounds, and throughout the house we all loved seeing their individual and unique touches brought to life, from the beautiful Spanish throws, provided by a life long friend of Matts... To the truly unique piñata for Julia and Matt to open on their one year anniversary! We definitely think this is a guest book idea that needs to be replicated!!! We had heard the plans for flowers with Meadow Folk during one of Julia's visits to the house, and wow they were stunning, literally like a meadow had been brought inside! Our catering partners for the day were Smallpiece catering, providing a veritable feast for the guests, with Kleftico "so delicious that the Greek Cypriot guests sent their compliments to the chef"! Smallpiece also helped to source upgraded chinaware and cutlery to embrace Julia and Matt's style throughout the dining period. We thought the gold cutlery and gold edged glasses were particularly stunning, and the Ballroom looked wonderful. As the day wore on guests enjoyed our south facing gardens and upon the request of Julia and matt were treated to a short visit by our dogs, Marmaduke and Fudge, the dogs were delighted to join in and Fudge felt he absolutely should help with the garden games (Jenga was at high risk and almost brought to an early conclusion by a rather zealous bouncy moment by Fudge!). Huge thanks to Live Events Group for providing some fabulous music for guests to dance the night away to, as ever Simon’s tunes even had the bar staff have a little dance behind the scenes.
We hope all the fiends and family joining for lunch at the White Hart on Sunday had a fabulous time, it was a pleasure to host you all and we can’t wait to re-live the day when the rest of the professional pictures by Iona (www.ionataberhamphotography.com) are released, the few professional ones posted above are absolutely stunning and a fabulous sneak peak of what will be a wonderful album we are sure!
