15/12/2017 0 Comments It’s ALE-mazing!Almost two years ago now Guy came home from work and informed the world at large that he, along with a friend, was going to open a micro-brewery. Well it looks like they’re about to put that into practice as the original Victorian kitchen in the basement of Penton Park is now formally registered with HMRC as a micro-brewery! The chaps are presently waiting for planning permission to be granted for a change of use to the correct planning zone for the kitchen - then watch out world – the Penton Park Brewery is about to take over the world!!
Many have already tested out their brews and I have to admit it always seems to go down a complete storm, requests are lined up for bottles as soon as they’re ready to be sent out and even some large, rather well known, supermarkets have expressed an interest. There are presently four brews ready to go to market, Colonel Bob, Spanish Shooter, 50 Not Out, and what I suspect will become their signature, The Penton Porter! Anyone keen to be involved on the journey for the Penton Park Brewery, you can follow them on: www.facebook.com/theppb www.instagram.com/pentonparkbrewery
